How to style your hair like Kim Kardashian
By 3cardmonte
When it comes to beauty, Kim Kardashian has firmly established herself as an icon. As a Star of the E! series "Keeping up with the Kardashians" she has become the envy of thousands of women all over the world with her stunning hairstyles.
Kim's jet back hair s in excellent condition and this is the key to any of her looks. So if you want to recreate her looks then you need to make sure your hair is in tip top condition. Try to avoid washing your hair everyday because you will dry it out if you do. Let your natural oils do some of the work and try to limit washes to every other day. Use regular deep conditioning treatments and always use heat protection.
Long and wavy.
Kim's long, wavy hair oozes beauty and sophistication but at the same time it looks natural and effortless. If you want to recreate this look then all you will is a few velcro rollers and some curl enhancing spray.
Wash and condition your hair. Towel dry it until it is about 70% dry and then apply some heat protection and curl enhancing spray or mousse. Do not apply it whilst your hair is very wet because the water will dilute it making it less effective.
You can either blow dry your hair or let it dry naturally. If you are blow drying it then you will need to use the blow dryer on the lowest heat setting and point the nozzle downwards onto the hair. Whether you are blow drying or air drying your hair you will need to make sure that your hair is totally dry before you remove the rollers. If it is not then your waves will simply fall out. Remove the rollers from your hair and brush the waves through with your fingers. Finish with a light mist of shine spray.
Side ponytail.
This side ponytail is an easy route to a glamorous sophisticated look. This style works best on air that is not freshly washed so try to avoid washing your hair the same day you do it.
Gently back comb the crown of your hair to add some volume. Then sweep your hair to one side and put it into a side ponytail. Once you have put your hair up then take a small section of hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the band so it is no longer visible. gently back comb the ends of your hair for added volume.
